I’m not a perfectionist when it comes to everything (like cleaning my room). But certain things turn me into one (like writing crochet patterns).
So yesterday I had the Baymax pattern ready to be released and then I just couldn’t get past something.
His hands looked all wrong. The thumbs were placed weird and I just couldn’t release the pattern until I fixed it.
Long story short, I had to remake both entire arms (because the arms are constructed from the hand up).
There was nothing wrong with the arm part of the pattern, but those hands were bothering me so much that I ripped his arms off (nice and gently, of course!) and started over.
Now that that’s taken care of, I can release the pattern to you guys!
Big Hero 6 has gotten some amazing review both before and after it’s release and I have tickets to see it Sunday, I can’t wait!
Has anyone seen it yet? What did you think? And who will you make Baymax for?!
Here’s a link to the pattern on Ravelry and Craftsy, if you prefer to purchase through either of those platforms. Here’s link to the pattern in my shop, where (until 11/30/14) you can use the code GRANDOPENING to get $2 off your purchase, which would make the Baymax pattern ½ price! Cool!
And as always, don’t forget to share your finished creations! Use the hashtag #screentostitch so I can see!
